First let me say that my kids cry whenever we leave the Eliesons' house. There is always a kid party going on over there! Saturday was no exception. Thanks to Hurricane Ike we had a ton of rain, which was perfect for jumping in. The gutters were rushing so she rounded up swimsuits for all the extra kids that were over and they had the best time filling up buckets and dumping them on each other. (It was a very warm and humid day). After I got over the nastiness of what was probably in that water (pesticide and fertilizer run-off) it was fun to see them having so much fun! We got hit with the tail end of Ike. I can't imagine how scary it must of been. It made a mess clear up here!
We are nowhere near Houston/Galveston...it is seriously a mess down there. My friends still have relatives staying with them because there isn't power down there yet!
