Moab in March

James and Michael Given ran the Canyonlands Half-Marathon this year. We stayed at a condo with the Givens and had so much fun. 8 kids, all under 9 years old and it was a big slumber party! We went to Canyonlands National Park after the race and then Arches on Sunday. The hike out to Delicate Arch was so fun for the boys. There were puddles, sticks, rocks, and dirt, so Porter and Hunter were in heaven! Sand Dune Arch was a great time, too. Lots of sand to play in, and we were surrounded by tall rock walls. We love Utah!

Skiing

This year Curren and James skiied together often at Alta. Curren loves it and keeps up with his dad. Emily and I took lessons at Park City this season so next year the four of us can ski together.

Sledding

Winter in Utah means playing in the snow! Hunter absolutely loved the sledding. He was crazy and went down the biggest hill all on his own. We had a blast!

Christmas 2009

Christmas is so fun with kids. It's magic when Santa brings exactly what each child has been dreaming of...a Kit doll for Emily, wii games for Curren, cars and trains for Hunter and Porter. My mom spent the week with us and we had snow, too.
