Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We spent our's here in Texas. On Christmas Eve morning we read Luke 2 while the kids acted out the nativity story. Curren was so cute. He wanted to look just like one of the figures in our nativity set that was on the mantle! Hunter, who was a shepherd, was wandering around (looking for sheep?) and wouldn't get in the picture.
We met up with friends we made while we were in Delaware that day, too. We had lunch at Macaroni Grill. Four parents, four kids, and two babies. It was fun visiting with them and the kids had a blast coloring on the paper tablecloth and both babies slept the entire time! We don't live that far from each other, but we don't see them very often.
That night we had an amazing dinner with friends in our ward. She is great cook and everything she makes is delicious! There were lots of kids so we thought it would be fun to act out the nativity. They loved getting dressed up. Porter was sleeping, so he was a peaceful baby Jesus.
I love this time of year. It's so fun to have Christmas with children!

One of the great things about living in TX is that there are some warm days in winter. This week it's been in the 40's-50's, but tomorrow it's going to be 70!
