The kids were out of school on Friday and since it was 38 degrees outside we had to find something fun to do indoors. We decided to check out the City Library in Salt Lake. It was amazing! It is just enormous. The kids loved the glass elevator and all the neat architectural things to play with. The children's library was top-notch. As a children's literature lover, I was very impressed with their collection of books. They had many copies of popular books which is so great. Usually when you go to a branch library all the good books are checked out. There was an "attic" area with cozy little corners for reading or playing. Next to that was a baby area with rockers and a diaper changing counter with a sink, too! (I love when a place is family friendly!) It is a beautiful library that is almost like a museum. Another reason to love Salt Lake City.

i'm enjoying seeing what you're doing in slc! i think i might be a little jealous...or a lot jealous! get me out of here!
