We live in the best ward in Texas! One of the reasons we love it: fun parties! There is a neighborhood right by our building that has this really neat barn and that's where the Halloween party was held this year. There was a band, a chili cook-off, a pie contest (my apple pie won for best-smelling!), and of course trick or treating and carnival games.
PS I really didn't think I'd get around to making the pie because that Saturday I had baked 3 loaves of bread, washed the car, did 5 loads of laundry, and cleaned the entire house! I love productive Saturdays.
