Mormon Batallion

Our trip to San Diego was so fun! We didn't let the June-like weather keep us from having fun. No way. We drove down on Friday and got in at about 1am and then we were up Saturday morning for a 5K run sponsored by the Penasquitos stake, followed by a pancake breakfast. After showers we headed down to Old Town to see the newly remodeled Mormon Batallion Visitors Center. It is now a a great place to go, with interactive exhibits and a great tour, missionaries in pioneer clothing, panning for gold, and a free family picture, too. And it's free, of course!
